The Board of Directors of the Mercantile Library Center for Fiction has announced that Finn is shortlisted for the John Sargent, Sr., First Novel Prize.
The Sargent Prize was created by the Center as part of its mission to promote the art of fiction in the United States. Marisha Pessl won last year for Special Topics in Calamity Physics.
The award will be presented in New York on October 29. And just having been invited is honor enough for me.
